Delays Expected Beginning Tomorrow Night on I-10 near Scenic Highway

Interstate 10 (I-10), near the Scenic Highway overpass, will encounter vehicle pacing operations tomorrow, Tuesday, March 10 and Wednesday, March 11 from 10:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. as crews install bracing for the new Scenic Highway overpass.

Vehicle pacing operations, also known as a rolling roadblock, is formed by creating a gap between traffic and the work area so that short-duration construction activities can be performed. Drivers should anticipate travel delays during this time.

All activities are weather dependent and may be delayed or re-scheduled in the event of inclement weather. Motorists are reminded to travel with care through the work zone and to watch for construction equipment and workers entering and exiting the roadway.
