The Escambia County Building Inspectors will be participating in staff development and required training throughout the day on Wednesday, March 4, therefore all building inspections requested for that day will be rescheduled to Thursday, March 5, 2015.
The Permitting, Contractor Licensing & Investigations Divisions will be open for business as usual on Wednesday, March 4, 2015, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Plan Intake will be open and plans may be accepted, subject to submittal of all required documentation and attachments; however no reviews will be completed or signed off on Wednesday, March 4, 2015.
Inspectors will return to performing building inspections as usual on Thursday, March 5, 2015.
- If you have a project that it is critical and requires an inspection during this time an after-hours inspection may be scheduled at the after-hour inspection fee rate. To schedule an after-hours inspection, please call (850 )595-3592 and leave the requested information. You will be contacted with scheduling information and the after-hours fee.
- If you previously scheduled an inspection and coordinated that inspection with a homeowner, you may need to contact them so they aren’t inconvenienced by waiting on an Inspector.
