Texar Drive Resurfacing Project Begins Monday

Published Feb 20, 2015

The FDOT will begin resurfacing a 1.1-mile section of Texar Drive between Fairfield Drive and 9th Avenue on Monday. Construction activities will begin with creation of a temporary lane shift and installation of a barrier wall. Motorists can expect intermittent lane restrictions. Work is anticipated to be completed this summer.

All planned construction activities are weather dependent and may be delayed or re-scheduled in the event of inclement weather. Motorists are reminded to travel with care through the work zone and to watch for construction equipment and workers entering and exiting the roadway.
