Escambia County received a record number of responses to a recent survey asking residents to share their opinions on a variety of potential RESTORE project selection criteria. A total of 233 respondents from throughout the county weighed in online, and the results provide insight as to what the community sees as the priorities for evaluating potential projects for RESTORE Act funding. This response is the largest ever received by the County on any opinion survey to date.
The survey sought to identify how respondents felt about the draft criteria under review by the Restore Advisory Committee (RAC) for evaluating projects that will eventually be submitted for funding consideration. The criteria will be used as a way to rank and prioritize potential projects.
