Pensacola Opera Visits the Library

Published Feb 5, 2015

The Pensacola Opera will make two very special visits to the West Florida Public Library in February.

On Thursday, February 12, at 10:30 a.m., in the Main Library Meeting Room B, 239 North Spring Street, the Pensacola Opera will present Pinocchio by John Davies.  This thrilling tail of a boy who is peer pressured into skipping school, but realizes he's made a big mistake when he finds himself in the grips of an evil puppeteer will feature the 2014-2015 Pensacola Opera artists in residence.

On Tuesday, February 17, at 4 p.m., in the Tryon Branch Library, 1200 Langley Avenue, the Pensacola Opera will present How Andy Found His Voice by Caroline Altman. Andy is bullied at school but can’t find the courage to defend himself until he receives a visit from several spirits of operas past.

For more information about these events or other happenings at the library, please contact the Main Library at (850) 436-5060.
