Lane Closures Planned for I-10 and Scenic Highway in Escambia County

Drivers will encounter alternating lane closures on Interstate 10 (I-10) east and westbound near the U.S. 90 (Scenic Highway) overpass in Escambia County 7 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. from Monday, Jan. 19  through Friday, Jan. 23.

In addition, drivers will encounter alternating lane closures on U.S. 90 (Scenic Highway) between the I-10 exit ramps, Tuesday, Jan. 20 and Wednesday, Jan. 21 from 7 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

The closures will allow crews to work on the new Scenic Highway overpass. Flagmen will be on-site to safely direct traffic through the work zone.

All planned construction activities are weather dependent and may be re-scheduled in the event of inclement weather.
