Escambia County Commissioners to Attend Veteran's Day Parade and Observance

Published Nov 10, 2014

One or more Escambia County Commissioners will attend the 2014 Pensacola Veteran's Day Parade and Observance tomorrow, Tuesday, November 11, at Veteran’s Memorial Park off Bayfront Parkway. The parade will begin at 9 a.m. and the Sounding of the Bells will take place at 11 a.m.

Attendees will have the opportunity to visit the Escambia County Area Transit (ECAT) ‘Salute to the Military’ tribute bus, a bus that is fully wrapped with a collage of local iconic military images such as the Blue Angels, NAS Pensacola, Veteran’s Memorial Park and the Wall South. The tribute bus will be a year-round reflection of gratitude for the sacrifices, courage and dedication of the active members of the Armed Forces as well as the many veterans who served in our local community.

For more information on the tribute bus, please contact Tonya Ellis at (850) 595-3228 or email [email protected].
