Effective immediately, a Precautionary Boil Water Notice (PBWN) has been issued for Emerald Coast Utilities Authority (ECUA) water customers, as a result of two water main breaks. The affected areas include:
- Camelford Drive
- Camelford Place
- Westbourne Drive
- Selborne Place
- Sheffield Place
- N. Davis Highway, between Brent Lane and Corday Street
- Corday Street, between N. Davis Highway and Lynell Street
- Phyllis Street, between N. Davis Highway and Lynell Street
- Brent Lane, between N. Davis Highway and Lynell Street
Residents are advised to boil water for one minute at a rolling boil, or to use 8 drops of regular unscented household bleach per gallon of water, for water to be used for drinking of cooking purposes.
Residents are advised that there is a possibility of discolored water as a result of the break and to flush their home’s plumbing by running their taps for a few minutes. If problems persist, customers are asked to contact ECUA Customer Service at (850) 476-0480 for assistance.
