Representative Mike Hill to Host Farm Share Food Distribution Event October 4

Farm Share and Representative Mike Hill will host a free food distribution event for Perdido Bay area families in need on Saturday, October 4, which will be held in the back parking lot of Perdido Bay United Methodist Church, located at 13660 Innerarity Point Road, Pensacola, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Farm Share will provide a semi-truck load of fresh produce, can goods, dried goods and other much needed food essentials to those in the Perdido area who are in need. This event is free of charge and solely based on volunteer efforts.

Farm Share is a non-profit organization working to alleviate hunger and malnutrition by recovering fresh and nutritious food and distributing it to those who need it most.  For more information, visit www.Farmshare.org.
