The West Florida Public Library System joins libraries across the nation in celebrating September as Library Card Sign up Month. Libraries are a valuable resource in our community offering services as varied as story time hours to expose young minds to the joy of reading and hands-on instruction in computer usage, as well as free access to books, magazines, CDs and DVDs.
Residents of Escambia County or active duty service members living in Escambia County can obtain a library card for the West Florida Public Library System free of charge.
