ECUA Precautionary Boil Water Notice

A precautionary boil water notice (PBWN) has been issued for ECUA water customers residing on:

  • Longwood Drive
  • Olive Road between Gregg Road and Yancy Avenue
  • Kipling Street between Desert Street and Johnson Avenue
  • Caminitti Lane between Olive Road and Johnson Avenue to include all of Nola Avenue and Parazine Street
  • Lode Star Avenue between Olive Road and Sky Crest Drive to include all of Blue Star Drive
  • Skycrest Drive
  • Chappal Drive
  • All of Tree Top Lane
  • Lawton Street between Olive Road and Pandora Place to include all of Pandora Place
  • Longwood Court
  • Sage Avenue
  • All of Binkey Street

The following food establishments and businesses are included and have been notified by field crews:

  • The Mom and Pop Gas Station on Olive Road
  • Dream Land Skate Center
  • Life Center of Pensacola Retirement Community
  • Doug Arnet DDS Office
  • Meadow Run Apartments
  • Casa Ole Mexican Restaurant

ECUA crews repaired a 6" water main that was ruptured by a contractor Tuesday afternoon.

Residents are advised to boil water for one minute at a rolling boil, or to use 6 drops of regular unscented household bleach per gallon of water, for water to be used for drinking or cooking purposes.

Residents are advised that there is a possibility of discolored water and to flush their home's plumbing by running their taps for a few minutes.
