The Gulf Islands National Seashore is seeking volunteers to participate in the annual International Coastal Cleanup on Saturday, September 20, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Coordinated by the Ocean Conservancy, the International Coastal Cleanup is a worldwide event that will take place at the following nearby locations:

Coastal Cleanup volunteers are advised to wear closed-toe shoes, gloves, sunscreen, hats and to bring water to stay hydrated. Park entrance fees will be waived for volunteers assisting with the Coastal Cleanup.
