Escambia County is seeking public participation for photo submissions to assist us in presenting photos for consideration to be used in the annual Florida Association of Counties (FAC) statewide calendar.
For this initiative we will allow submissions using the social media application Instagram.
Interested participants should:
- Upload their best, unfiltered photos of a sunrise and/or sunset in Escambia County to @MyEscambia on Instagram
- Use the “hashtag” #EscambiaSunrise and/or #EscambiaSunset
- Mention within the photo caption where in Escambia County the photo was taken
- Photos for consideration must be strictly scenic (no people, animals, etc.)
- Photos submitted via mail, email or other forms of social media will not be accepted
All photos for consideration must be uploaded to Instagram beginning today, Wednesday, August 13, through Friday, August 29.
Should your photo be selected by Escambia County to be submitted for consideration to be used in the FAC publication, we will contact you for the original photo (prior to being uploaded to Instagram). The original photo must be at least 2000 pixels/DPI and in a high resolution format.
