- Lake Stone Campground, a 100-acre campground and boat ramp facility located just west of Century, features 77 campsites for everything from big RV rigs to tents. Recently updated to accommodate the more modern and much larger RV’s, Lake Stone is the County’s only facility located on a fresh water lake. Lake Stone facilities include a boat ramp (gasoline engines are prohibited on Lake Stone), indoor public use building, a playground, showers, restrooms, a fishing pier, security lights, electrical and water hookups, a sewage dump station, picnic areas and the beautiful lake. - The Escambia County Equestrian Center is a 151-acre park and multiuse event facility that hosts numerous equestrian shows, rodeos, exhibitions, festivals, concerts and weddings. Located at 7750 Mobile Highway, the Equestrian Center draws enthusiasts from around the country to the greater Pensacola area. - Escambia County’s Recreation Division is responsible for providing both competitive and recreational programming, as well as events planning and development. - Comprised of seven locations and a traveling Bookmobile, the West Florida Public Library (WFPL) system proudly serves Escambia County residents of all ages with a variety of complimentary resources.
