Crews will begin construction activities on State Road (S.R.) 10 (U.S. 90) from 15th Avenue to Hyde Park Road on Monday, July 7.
The 2.1-mile project consists of resurfacing the existing travel lanes, reconstructing curb ramps to meet current Americans with Disability Act requirements, constructing minor sidewalk improvements and additional rehabilitation and safety improvements.
There will be no lane closures allowed Monday through Friday during active school periods from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and during special school and local events. Motorists can expect night work to take place. Access to homes and businesses will be maintained at all times. Vehicular, pedestrian and bicycle traffic are reminded to use caution when traveling through the work area. The project is expected to be complete winter 2015.
Construction activities may be delayed or rescheduled in the event of inclement weather. For more Florida Department of Transportation District Three information, follow @myfdot_nwfl on Twitter or contact Tanya Branton at (850) 330-1599 or at [email protected].
