Upcoming Escambia County Extension Events

Escambia County Extension UF/IFAS will host two events celebrating the future of the 4-H Youth Development Program in Escambia County.

The first event, a groundbreaking, will be held on Friday, June 13, at 3 p.m., for the Langley Bell 4-H Center, 3740 Stefani Road, Cantonment. The Langley Bell 4-H Center will include almost 9,000 square feet under one roof, more than 1,200 square feet of covered patio for educational activities, four learning centers, exterior educational areas and space for a 4-H adult volunteer training center.

Following the groundbreaking an open house will be held for the newly purchased Escambia County 4-H Property, 5600 Chalker Road, Molino, on Saturday, June 14, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Escambia County 4-H Property will feature space for agriculture and outdoor education. All are welcome to come take a tour of the property and see the site of the future 4-H livestock facility.
