Senator Nelson to Visit Escambia County

Senator Bill Nelson will visit Escambia County on Tuesday, May 27. The Senator plans to start his day meeting with citizens at Pensacola State College, tour heavily impacted areas from the flooding event of Tuesday, April 29, the Central Booking and Detention explosion of Wednesday, April 30, and FEMA’s Disaster Recovery Center at the Brownsville Community Center.

A 12:30 p.m. meeting will take place prior to the 2 p.m. press conference. Both will be held at the Escambia County Ernie Lee Magaha Governmental Building, 221 Palafox Place, Pensacola.  Senator Nelson will be available for media at the press conference.

More than one Escambia County Commissioner, City of Pensacola Council Member, City of Gulf Breeze Council Member and Santa Rosa County Commissioner may be in attendance during any or all of these events.
