A Precautionary Boil Water Notice (PBWN) has been issued for ECUA customers residing on the following streets in District 3:
- North Palafox Street between East Jordan Street and East Lloyd Street
- North Hayne Street between East Jordan Street and East Lloyd Street
- East Avery Street between North Palafox Street to North Hayne Street
- North Guillemard Street between East Avery Street and East Lloyd Street
- East Mallory Street between North Palafox Street and North Hayne Street
- East Moreno Street between North Palafox Street and North Hayne Street
- East Blount Street between North Palafox Street and North Hayne Street
- East Lee Street between North Palafox Street and North Hayne Street
- East Lloyd Street between North Palafox Street and North Hayne Street
Residents are advised to boil water for one minute at a rolling boil, or to use 6 drops of regular unscented household bleach per gallon of water, for water to be used for drinking or cooking and that there is a possibility of discolored water and to flush their home’s plumbing by running their taps for a few minutes.
