Barrier Free Fishing on the Pensacola Bay Fishing Bridge May 3

The Escambia County Marine Resources Division and Parks and Recreation Department will host a Barrier Free Fishing “BFF” event on Saturday, May 3, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on the Pensacola Bay Fishing Bridge.

This event is offered to children in kindergarten to 12th grade with physical disabilities and is strictly limited to the first 100 applicants and two guests.

Preregistration is required for this free event by Tuesday, April 29, and available on a first come, first serve basis.

Participants are encouraged to bring sunscreen, a hat, windbreaker jacket and chairs and will receive a rod, reel and a digital photo to take home.  Bait and tackle will be provided.

Registration forms are attached and must be completed and submitted to Escambia County Parks and Recreation, 1651 East Nine Mile Road, or [email protected].
