Escambia County Statement Regarding Draft of Proposed Consent Agreement from DOJ

Escambia County has received an initial draft of a proposed consent agreement from counsel at the Department of Justice (DOJ). County staff is reviewing the proposal and will begin internal discussions regarding a recommended counterproposal to the DOJ.

The draft of the proposed consent agreement will be placed on the January 2 Board of County Commissioners Agenda for discussion as part of the County Attorney’s Report.
