Below is a listing of the offices and departments closed on Thursday, November 28, and Friday, November 29, for the Thanksgiving holiday. Normal operations resume on Monday, December 2.
- Escambia County Board of County Commissioners
- Escambia County Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller
- Escambia County Property Appraiser
- Escambia County Supervisor of Elections
- Escambia County Tax Collector
- West Florida Public Library System
Exceptions:
- 911 Dispatch, EMS and Fire Services will all be open
- Perdido Landfill, excluding the administrative offices, will reopen on Friday, November 29
Escambia County Area Transit (ECAT)
- Buses will not run on Thursday, November 28. Regular operations on Friday, November 29
- UWF trolleys will not run on Thursday, November 28, and Friday, November 29, and will resume a regular schedule on Saturday, November 30
- Administrative offices will be closed on Thursday, November 28, and Friday, November 29, and will reopen on Monday, December 2
