The West Florida Public Library invites children and their families to its Fall festivities, including parades, stories, songs and a chance to show off your Halloween costumes at the following locations:
Molino Branch Library, 6450 Highway 95A North
- On Monday, October 28, the library will host a “Not-So-Scary for Little Goblins” story time and parade at 4 p.m. for children up to five years old.
- At 6 p.m., in conjunction with the Mid-County Historical Society, the library will host a “Trick-or-Treat Down a Spooky Museum Street” with a special guest visit from Florida Garrison 501st Legion, for children five years and older.
Southwest Branch Library, 12248 Gulf Beach Highway
- On Tuesday, October 29, at 10:30 a.m. a Halloween-themed story time for children up to five years old will take place.
- At 6 p.m., a story time will be held for children five years and older.
Downtown Branch, 239 North Spring Street
- On Wednesday, October 30, children ages five and under are invited to story time at 10:30 a.m., which will include a parade through the Main Library Children’s Department.
- Children ages five and older are invited to the 8th Annual Halloween Parade beginning at 4 p.m. Children are encouraged to come dressed in costume for stories, singing, poetry and a parade through the library.
Tryon Branch Library, 1200 Langley Avenue
On Thursday, October 31, at 10:30 a.m. a Halloween-themed story time will take place for children up to five years old. All children are encouraged to wear their costumes.
Century Branch Library, 7991 N. Century Boulevard
On Thursday, October 31, join us in costume for ghost stories at 5 p.m.
