October 29 Public FDOT Meeting For Nine Mile Road Widening

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will hold a public meeting regarding the widening of Nine Mile Road (S.R. 10) on Tuesday, October 29, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Plainview Baptist Church, 1101 West Nine Mile Road, Pensacola.

The proposed project will widen Nine Mile Road (S.R. 10) from two to four lanes beginning at U.S. 90/Mobile Highway (S.R. 10A) to Pine Forest Road (S.R. 297).  The intent of the meeting is to document changes in current design standards, reassess socioeconomic and environmental impacts as well as compare any new alternative options.  Maps, drawings and other study information will be on display however no formal presentation will be given.
