Escambia County Celebrates National Walk Your Child To School Day

The Escambia County Board of County Commissioners is partnering with the Escambia County School Board and the Escambia/Santa Rosa Community Traffic Safety Team to recognize National Walk Your Child To School Day.

A celebration will be hosted on Thursday, October 17, at 7:15 a.m. in front of Lincoln Park Elementary School, 7600 Kershaw Street, Pensacola. Commissioner Lumon May and Superintendent Malcolm Thomas along with the Escambia/Santa Rosa Community Traffic Safety Team will welcome parents and students as they walk to school.

This celebration is a collaborative effort between the Escambia County Board of County Commissioners, Escambia County School Board, Florida Department of Transportation and the Escambia/Santa Rosa Community Traffic Safety Team.
