September is National Preparedness Month and Escambia County and FEMA want you to be ready for various disasters that can affect our region.

By visiting BeReadyEscambia.com, residents can access helpful information such as hurricane, tornado and flood safety tips, evacuation routes, shelter locations and more.

Also available online for download is FEMAs National Preparedness Community, where more than 32,000 people connect to collaborate on emergency preparedness. By utilizing the tool kit you can connect with emergency management personnel, share preparedness plans and gain access to additional resources.
