Escambia County Ernie Lee Magaha Governmental Building Power Outage

The Escambia County Ernie Lee Magaha Governmental Building, 221 Palafox Palace, is without power this morning. The building is estimated to be closed to the public until 1 p.m. or until later notice.

This building houses the Escambia County Board of County Commissioners, County Administration, Escambia County Property Appraiser and portions of the Clerk of Courts and Comptroller office.

Janet Holley Tax Collector office is open with no phone availablity and repairs are expected to be made this afternoon.

Gulf Power is on the scene making repairs. Employees have been asked to check in with supervisors at 1 p.m. for an update on operations.
