McArthur Elementary School – Annual Gallery Night

Sherwood Elementary School - Chrysanthemum
May 8, 2013: 8:30 a.m. and 9 a.m.
Sherwood Elementary School second graders in cooperation with Pensacola Opera's “Words To Music” program will present Chrysanthemum. The opera's script, music and acting are original works created by the second graders themselves. Performance times are 8:30 a.m. and 9 a.m. The presentations will be held in the cafeteria. J.H. Workman Middle School – 50th Anniversary Celebration
May 9, 2013: 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.
J. H. Workman Middle School, which opened in 1963, will be celebrating its 50th anniversary in the school cafeteria from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Photographs from the past 50 years from Workman Junior High School to the present J. H. Workman Middle School will be highlighted in a slide show. All former Workman administrators, teachers, staff and students are invited to join in the celebration. There will be a brief program followed by refreshments as well as a time to see some familiar faces and share memories and stories. Brentwood Elementary School – App “Shoot Out”

Teachers throughout Escambia County are invited to participate in an App “Shoot Out”, hosted at Brentwood Elementary School from 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. Teachers and leaders from the district will be sharing apps that will engage, enhance and extend learning. All educators in grades Pre-K through 12 are invited to attend this event.
