Two Events this Weekend at Equestrian Center

The Escambia County Equestrian Center will host both a horse show and a dog show this weekend.

Elite Show Jumping will present a hunter jumper “AA” show from Friday, November 30, through Sunday, December 2. The show starts at 8:30 a.m. each morning and runs until classes are over. Spectators are welcome and there is no charge. For information, email [email protected] or call the Equestrian Center at 941-6042.

Five Flags Dog Training will present an agility trial on Saturday, December 1, and Sunday, December 2. Show starts at 8:00 a.m. each morning and runs till trials are over. Spectators are welcome. There is a $2 admission for spectators over 12 years of age to this event. For information, call 471-2262 or visit www.fiveflagsdogs.com.

A full-service concession stand will be open during both events.

The Escambia County Equestrian Center, 7750 Mobile Hwy., is a multi-use facility that hosts horse and dog shows, rodeos, concerts, festivals and more. For more information on the Equestrian Center, contact Pam Mauldwin, Equestrian Center Manager, at 941-6042.
