Navy Federal's CEO Discusses Expansion

Published Nov 2, 2012

In a recent meeting with members of the Greater Pensacola Chamber of Commerce, Navy Federal CEO Cutler Dawson shared information about his company’s future growth and plans for developing the 240-acre former Langley Bell 4-H Center site in Beulah. Already the largest credit union in the world, Navy Federal plans to expand its workforce from its current 9,000 employees to 13,000 by 2017. ?Dawson has repeatedly stated that most of the new creation will occur in Escambia County. According to a Pensacola News Journal report, when Dawson was asked how many buildings could be located on the recently purchased 240-acres, he replied that the new site could eventually accommodate six new buildings, each employing up to 1,000 employees. Navy Federal’s Heritage Oaks campus, which lies adjacent newly purchased property, currently has four buildings with nearly 3,000 employees.
