Escambia County, in partnership with Jacobs Engineering, invites residents to the final public meeting for the Adaptation Planning Project Monday, March 30 at 5:30 p.m. at the Lexington Terrace Community Center, located at 700 S. Old Corry Field Road. The meeting is open to anyone interested in learning more about future flood mitigation efforts and long-term adaptation planning.
During the meeting, attendees will hear from Escambia County staff and representatives from Jacobs Engineering and APTIM on the countywide Adaptation Plant results along with a video presentation highlighting the project and release of a StoryMap.
The Adaptation Planning Project is an initiative aimed at safeguarding the unincorporated areas of Escambia County against environmental risks, including rising sea levels and flooding. For more information, contact Dr. Ryan Kirby at [email protected].
