A final public meeting to discuss design improvements for Longleaf Drive from Pine Forest Road to Marcus Bayou Bridge will be held Tuesday, Aug. 3 from 5:30-7 p.m. at Longleaf Elementary School, 2600 Longleaf Drive, Pensacola, FL 32526. The meeting will include a brief introduction at 5:30 p.m. and then an open house format for questions and comments. The open house format allows for one-on-one dialog with the project team.
Longleaf Drive is being redesigned to include improved mobility for vehicles and pedestrians connecting our neighbors to schools, parks and businesses within the corridor. Improvements include roadway, drainage, lighting, bridge, landscaping and a new trail within the existing rights-of-way. This will be a meeting to share concerns and opportunities for the corridor with your county team, including Vice Chairman and District 1 Commissioner Jeff Bergosh.
