Ribbon-Cutting for the New Correctional Facility

Escambia County will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Escambia County Correctional Facility located at 3080 N. Pace Blvd., Pensacola on Monday, March 29 at 1 p.m.

Speakers will include:
Escambia County Chairman and District 4 County Commissioner Robert Bender
Escambia County District 3 County Commissioner Lumon May
Escambia County Corrections Chief Rich Powell
Escambia County Sheriff Chip Simmons
County Administrator Janice Gilley
Chaplain William Leggett 
Chaplain Reginald Benjamin  
*One or more county commissioners may be in attendance.
The public is asked to RSVP online by March 22 for planning purposes. COVID-19 precautions will be taken. The event is expected to take place outside, and in the event of inclement weather, the event can be moved inside to a large space. The event will also be streamed live on the Escambia County Facebook page.
