The Hispanic Resources Center of Northwest Florida, Inc is holding a Jaripeo. A Jaripeo is a traditional form of bull riding in Mexico, dating back to the 16th century. In the modern version, it is more of a family day outing where the bull riding is combined with musical entertainment. Authentic Mexican food and music are the main attractions and Mexican cowboys show off their bull riding skills during intermissions. The Jaripeo will be under the covered arena, so it will be held rain or shine.
