Hands-on workshop led by UF/IFAS Extension Faculty to discuss common problems with calving difficulty in beef cattle operations. Participants will be able to observe handling techniques with an artificial teaching cow and to learn about proper cow/calf safety. Faculty will also be educating participants on artificial insemination techniques to improve genetic quality in their herd.
