Escambia County Department of Natural Resource Management is teaming up with a local nonprofit, Emerald Coastkeeper, to host a volunteer cleanup at the headwaters of Carpenter Creek. Carpenter Creek is the main freshwater tributary of Bayou Texar.  Supplies, including gloves and trash bags, will be provided for the four hour event by Emerald Coastkeepers.  Onsite parking is very limited so carpooling is encouraged.

More than one commissioner may attend.
