This month's special speaker is a member of BRACE, or Be Ready Alliance Coordinating for Emergencies.

Learn about how BRACE coordinates social and support services utilizing local, donated, and purchased resources from it's membership.

BRACE helps with:

  • Developing a family disaster plan and assembling a disaster supply kit.
  •  Working toward reducing duplication of service with their database of community and faith-based organizations services.
  • Aiding families, including the homeless, with unmet housing needs.
  • Developing disaster recovery plans and coordinating resource allocations.

BRACE encourages citizens to be prepared, get training in first aid, and emergency skills, to volunteer with local responders, relief organizations, and community safety programs.
