Escambia County Area Transit staff will host an event to unveil the system’s brand new website and online trip planner to the community. Event attendees will have the opportunity to check out the website and plan their trip using the new online trip-planning tool.
Additionally, ECAT will also host a “Beat the Trip Planner” contest, where riders can win prizes for planning routes using the online trip planner and traditional maps.
These technology upgrades are being introduced in conjunction with the system’s new Track Star initiative, which encourages riders to utilize the new tech features to become ECAT experts. Those who participate in the contest or sign up to be an ECAT Track Star will have a chance to win themed promotional items.
The mission of Escambia County government is to provide efficient, responsive services that enhance our quality of life, meet common needs and promote a safe and healthy community.
