The Community Redevelopment Agency’s Commercial Façade, Landscape, and Infrastructure Grant Program provides matching grants of up to $10,000 for eligible facade, landscape and infrastructure improvements to commercial property located within Escambia County’s designated redevelopment districts. Grant funding is based on availability and will be provide on a first come, first served basis. Funding for this program is provided by Community Development Block Grant and Tax Incremental Financing.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Property must be located an Escambia County designated redevelopment district
  • Property must be zoned commercial or industrial and used for commercial or industrial purposes
  • Application must be signed by the property owner
  • Property must not have outstanding judgment liens, code violations, delinquent taxes and/or be exempt from ad valorem property taxes in Escambia County
  • Applicant must be able to provide 100% of project costs upfront. Applicant will be reimbursed 50% of total eligible project costs, up to $10,000, at project completion
  • Project must have been approved and Notice to Proceed issued by the Community Redevelopment Agency prior to commencement

  • Exterior Lighting
  • Exterior Painting
  • Landscaping
  • Parking Improvements
  • Restoration of Architectural Features
  • Sanitary Sewer Connection
  • Fencing/Screening
  • Sprinkler Systems
  • ADA Handicap Building Access

To Apply:

  1. Complete the Commercial Facade, Landscape and Infrastructure Grant Application.
  2. Submit your application and supporting documentation by:
