Escambia County offers after school programs at Ebonwood/Oakcrest Community Center and the Brownsville Community Resource Center. The programs offer a variety of activities and educational resources to local youth, including arts and crafts, homework assistance, nutritional programs, team-building activities, sports and more.
The Play, Learn, Grow After School Program provides youth grades K-12 the opportunity to participate in educational, cultural, sports, and community enrichment programs. Program provides homework assistance, tutoring, project based activities, and snacks; while following CDC, state and local guidelines. Virtual tutoring is available for individuals who wish to stay home. The program begins Tuesday, Sep. 8, 2020.

The Youth Connection provides youth in K-8th grade the opportunity to participate in education, cultural, sports, and community enrichment programs; to build confidence and self-esteem; to encourage our youth to say "NO" to gangs, drugs, and violence; and "YES" to hope, learning and life.
