Eric Livingston

Eric Livingston

Eric Livingston has dedicated his professional career to helping to ensure that our children and grandchildren will have clean water in the future. He spent 35 years at the Florida Department of Environmental Regulation/Protection where he was involved in the development, implementation, and evolution of Florida's Nonpoint Source Management Program, Stormwater Management Program, NPDES stormwater program, and the Watershed Restoration/Management (TMDL) program. Eric's passion for excellence and his stewardship of Florida's stormwater treatment program led his stormwater colleagues to refer to him as Florida's "Stormwater Godfather." Eric has been active in developing stormwater programs at the national level, in other states, and in Australia and New Zealand. With his retirement from DEP at the end of April 2013, Eric opened Watershed Management Services, LLC to allow him to continue working with local governments, environmental groups, businesses, and citizens who are facing stormwater management and water quality problems and need creative common sense solutions.

Education: He has a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Biology from Florida State University, and a Master of Science in Environmental Biology from the University of Alabama.
