The Arena Road and Tobias Road Dirt Road Paving (DRP), Drainage and Realignment project is located in District 5. This project will combine design services for Arena and Tobias Roads due to the close proximity of the roadways. The project includes roadway realignment and drainage system installation on the unpaved portion of Arena and Tobias Roads as part of the Escambia County DRP Program.
Arena Road is approximately 3,180 linear feet or 0.602 miles. It is the intent of the County Engineering Department to acquire a 50’ right of way for the construction of a 24’ roadway with drainage system. Special consideration is to be made for the existing cemetery and close proximity of grave sites to the existing roadway. Escambia County owns a parcel which may be considered for roadway realignment and/or storm water attenuation.
