The Perdido Riverwalk is located adjacent to the Perdido Landfill. Don't let the location fool you – this beautiful nature trail runs 2/3-mile along the Perdido River through two distinct ecological communities: oak/pine uplands and bottomland hardwoods. The Perdido Riverwalk is host to many species of plants and animals, including the Florida anise, which is listed as threatened by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. Wild turkeys, bald eagles, beavers, owls and deer have also been spotted on the trail.

Hours of Operation: Monday-Saturday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
