Small, Minority, Women and Disadvantaged Business Workshop

Escambia County and the Florida Department of Transportation are hosting several free workshops for small, minority, women and disadvantaged business enterprises in February and March. SBE’s and DBE’s are encouraged to attend to learn about opportunities for doing business with Escambia County and FDOT including the Pensacola Bay Bridge replacement project. Topics also include how to bid public work, jobs in the Escambia area, available training, bonding and financing.

The workshops are for small, minority, women and disadvantaged businesses who specialize in areas including concrete, landscaping, fencing, irrigation, painting, sidewalks, asphalt, curb and cutter, underground utilities, building maintenance, hand rails, and signs.
