The Emergency Communications division provides the critical link between Emergency Management, Escambia County EMS, Escambia County Fire Rescue, law enforcement agencies and citizens who call 911 for emergency assistance.
The Emergency Communications Center, or ECC, processes more than 200,000 emergency calls each year. The center also dispatches approximately 50,000 medical calls and 20,000 fire calls annually.
ECC dispatchers are often the first voice heard during an emergency. Every team member approaches this responsibility with a service-first attitude.
